The E-Commerce Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for e-commerce performance marketing, digital marketing and general marketing for key UK retail accounts.
This hybrid role will be responsible for all e-commerce retail and performance executions including paid search, display and programmatic marketing as well as managing some traditional marketing (in-store, POS, windows, digital, events) with privileged accounts.
This role requires strong performance marketing, data analysis and digital marketing skills as well as the ability to execute marketing campaigns across more traditional marketing channels.

  • Conceive, develop and execute performance-led e-commerce marketing initiatives, ensuring all activities are consumer-focused and optimised towards delivering long-term growth, connecting The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) merchandise through e-commerce channels with key consumer groups
  • Ensure franchise-specific marketing exceeds set KPIs at key content moments, as well as part of an all-year-round performance marketing approach
  • Oversee end-to-end UK e-commerce performance marketing tasks, with a specific focus on paid search, display and programmatic
  • Ensure wider digital marketing funnel advertising platforms are utilised where required, including social, affiliates, CRM, YouTube, Google, etc.
  • Drive UK e-commerce performance marketing evolution, transitioning towards a highly connected, performance and insight-led marketing approach with UK e-commerce retailers
  • Ensure all performance marketing and digital marketing undertaken is founded on data and insight, through post-campaign analysis, reporting and ongoing recommendations of future optimisations
  • Ensure best-in-class representation of relevant franchises online, including building and maintaining brand stores, in accordance with a clear and approved brand store strategy
  • Work to ensure a minimum product content standard
  • Agree on ROAS and KPI-driven marketing investment framework and reporting
  • Review and innovate the UK retail e-commerce performance marketing approach in line with the overall unified UK retail strategy, engaging teams and translating it into measurable objectives
  • Actively contribute at e-commerce expos or wider digital forums where relevant
  • Responsible for driving marketing specific retail execution (in-store POS, windows, digital, events, screenings, synergy opportunities) with select accounts, across all The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) franchises
  • Plan and execute long term and fiscal year strategies and be responsible for the marketing management of a series of UK key accounts/retailers
  • Implement the long term regional marketing strategy for the relevant category and accounts in conjunction with commercial, category and franchise marketing teams
  • Manage day-to-day marketing relationships with key accounts and provide commercial teams with support as and when needed across other growth accounts and tactical new business opportunities
  • As required, assign and manage external agencies to support the evolution and implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Where required, pitch, secure and effectively oversee marketing budgets, helping to effectively control allocated budget through secured AOP
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure all marketing activity in-scope is strategically aligned with franchise, category and global strategies
  • Review key partner and Disney marketing investment practices, driving efficiencies
  • Liaise with Studio, Home Entertainment, Digital, Disney+ and other identified Disney business areas to improve UK marketing initiatives

Skills required
  • Ability to analyse data and consumer insights, construct practical conclusions and implement recommendations to achieve business targets
  • Organisational and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism
  • Commercial acumen and ability to contextualise digital initiatives in wider organisation strategies and business planning
  • Financial acumen – and ability to understand a P&L and quarterly forecasting process
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external partners
  • Computer literate including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent strategic approach to problem solving and innovation
