Promo Planner (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary
 

We are currently looking for a Promo Planner to join our team in Sofia. As a Promo Planner, you will report directly to the Manager Promo Production and Planning Balkans, as part of the Marketing Department of the Walt Disney Company (TWDC) Balkans.

This promo planner role will mainly plan and book the On Air self-promotion and cross-promotion of all TWDC brands (Fox, Fox Life, Fox Crime, Fox Movies, National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, 24Kitchen) for the territories of Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, and Slovenia and will plan and coordinate the production of audio-visual marketing materials for TWDC websites and social media channels.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.
 

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

• Supports the Promo Production Manager and Planning and the Creative Manager in ensuring smooth communication, timely delivery and quality control of all materials, produced in-house or by external contractors, and requested by Programming and Marketing departments.
• Updates planning lists (Logo, Promo and Cross Promo) for the entire channels’ portfolio, incl. FOX, Fox Life, Fox Crime, Fox Movies, National Geographic, National Geographic Wild and 24Kitchen.
• While planning the campaigns, works closely in cooperation with Programming, Marketing, and Research in order to be updated about all brands, KPIs of the promotional campaigns and the data used. 
• Plans and coordinates digital planning lists’ production and delivery for all the listed above TV channels.
• Communicates and plans the localization of National Geographic and National Geographic Wild promos.
• Checks all production elements before sending On-Air finalized creative elements (music, graphics, voice).
• Supports the Creative Manager in scheduling voice sessions and communicates with voice talents for each channel and with the audio mixer.
• Participates in brainstorming and scheduled meetings, gives ideas for on-air campaigns, cross-promotion plans, rebrands, etc.
• Downloads and archives all marketing materials for on-air promotion.
• Collects and administers materials for short on-air forms (bugs, line-ups, end pages, etc.)
• Does monthly purchase orders, and takes care of the correct and timely invoicing and payments.
• Communicates with the Ad Sales Team Balkans when needed to support the production and delivery of assigned advertisement projects.
• Prepares reports and presents them to the line manager.

The Experience&Skills We Require From You:

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English and Bulgarian
• Relevant University Degree
• TV data and promo planning knowledge would be considered an advantage
• Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing media landscape with strong time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines; ability to work proactively and independently
• Strong planning and organizational skills to be able to manage projects and processes
