Enterprise Franchise Management (EFM) at The Walt Disney Company works across the enterprise to maximize the consumer connection and the economic value of our priority character franchises through strategy, integrated marketing programs and stewardship. The team works collaboratively with all lines of businesses, regions, and centers of expertise to garner alignment on strategic directions, mobilize for key programs, align on character guidance with a goal to drive consumer affinity and fuel growth for key franchises. Additionally, the team is responsible for the management of Corporate Synergy efforts across the entire company ecosystem working with all Synergy teams in lines of businesses and regions.

As Senior Analyst, you will work within the EFM team to support the development of franchise strategies and integrated marketing programs in support of the franchise portfolio. You will work with all segments and across businesses and center of excellence to ensure strategic directions and program plans include the perspective of key partners as well as the latest insights, data and character guidelines.

As Senior Analyst, you will work within the EFM team to support the development of franchise strategies and integrated marketing programs in support of the franchise portfolio. You will work with all segments and across businesses and center of excellence to ensure strategic directions and program plans include the perspective of key partners as well as the latest insights, data and character guidelines.

Responsibilities :

Engages in and leads select workstreams in the development and buy-in of well-articulated strategic plans for priority franchise that include priority consumer targets, growth opportunities, content, creative vision/positioning, marketing and strategies needed to tap growth:
  • Identification and recommendation of growth opportunities, priority consumer targets, strategic positioning, and key strategic directions
  • Close collaboration with other Brand teams on stewardship for franchise related topics
  • Analysis, recommendations, presentations, and other communications to build and disseminate franchise strategies and secure alignment
  • First draft of recommendation on how to translate franchise strategic directions into concrete action plans (e.g., new content, marketing campaigns, digital, etc.).  Support LOBs and regions with directions needed in support of these actions
  • Review of LOB and regional content, marketing, digital, distribution, and merchandising plans to identify executions that deliver strongly on plan. Proactively sharing of these plans with other LOBs and regions. 

Engages in and leads select workstreams in the design, implementation of XLOB franchise initiatives including enterprise marketing campaigns, bridge content, digital plans, and art style re-imagining:
  • First draft of recommendation of the creation of XLOB franchise strategic programs
  • First draft of creative briefs; participation in securing input from and aligns regional and LOB leads
  • Early development of integrated plans for approved content programs and marketing campaigns including:
    • How the campaign will be brought to life across the company in segments and regions, including a calendar of major campaign activations
    • Media and distribution plans that meet reach/quality/frequency goals
  • Participation in management of internal creative partners as well as outside agencies to develop required assets with an understanding of how to work with and communicate to creative teams
  • Implementation and project management for:
    • Asset development
    • Distribution
    • Media plans
    • Social and digital plans
  • Close collaboration with other EFM teams on operations and marketing analytics to ensure program investments are right sized for their potential return, metrics are put into place to assess impact and postmortem analysis are conducted on effectiveness of initiatives against original business and marketing objectives
  • Identification of new marketing opportunities and innovative campaigns/techniques

Basic Qualifications : 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • 2 years of experience in consulting, strategy, marketing, business development or brand management with a global mindset, working in a world-class organization
  • Knowledge and experience deploying marketing campaigns across TV, Social/Digital, and Retail​​​​​​
  • Partnership leadership skills to manage within a cross-functional team
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and persuade at all levels across the organization
  • Comfortable working through a matrix structure to deliver the end solution; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Interest in and acumen for creative with an understanding of how to work with and communicate to creative teams
  • Excellent communication and engaging presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Challenges status quo to do things differently
  • Experience at Disney especially helpful
  • Experience managing large entertainment franchises in multi-business environments especially helpful

Required Education :

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience in Business or other pertinent areas
