In this role you'll be part of the Nordic & Baltic HR team and will offer senior HR business partnering support to various lines of businesses, driving and enabling the delivery of our people strategy and helping the departments to deliver against their business objectives. Acting as a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be expected to combine a strong business acumen with a solution oriented mindset and hands on operational work. Additionally, you will be utilising your local labour law understanding, as well as guiding and leading other team members and our centres of expertise (such as HR Operations, Talent Acquisitions, payroll) through our processes.
In close conjunction and collaboration with our regional HR Director, you will also manage and follow through on strategic and operational projects and other initiatives as and when needed.
Critical to the success of the position is managing a professional, effective and proactive relationship with the business by understanding their key drivers and priorities and providing an effective collaboration with regional Centres of Excellence, based in London, to support the achievement of these.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week in one of our local offices – either Stockholm Helsinki, Oslo or Copenhagen. This role is a fixed-term parental leave cover for approx. 1 – 1,5 years with the ideal start date as soon as possible, but latest by 1st August.
What You Will Do
Contribute, drive and deliver the Nordic HR people strategy together with the HR team
Guide and motivate a high performing HR team
In partnership with the respective client groups proactively lead the development and delivery of the people agenda, ensuring it aligns with the HR and business strategy
A key focus of the role is to have a strong understanding of how the business operates, the key business challenges, drivers, financials as well as staying current on industry trends, technology advances etc.
Pro-actively develop strong working relationships with key business and HR stakeholders, which enable a solution-orientated approach to delivering HR initiatives
Closely collaborate with the business lines, using a commercial and solution oriented mindset
Proactively engage with the HR Centers of Excellence to acquire specialist advice and facilitate quality adding solutions to the business functions
Manage and drive annual HR processes with the business and Centers of Excellence, for example annual compensation planning, talent and succession planning, performance management, organisational change management, recruitment, learning and development.
Manage headcount together with the Finance team and partner with the Talent Acquisition team in recruitments for the region
Act as second in command to the Nordic HR Director, supporting and stepping in as and when needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
Operating at senior HR Business Partner level, within progressive commercial organisations in an international/EMEA organisation.
Demonstrable multi-discipline Human Resources experience, both operational and strategic
Experience in navigating within a fast-paced matrix/cross-functional setup
Confident in change management/ organisational development experience including restructure, redundancy, TUPE, settlement agreements and redeployment
Significant experience operating within a shared service environment and strong detailed skills within the full workflow related to HR, as well as cooperation and understanding of Finance, Payroll, Facilities etc.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and people leadership skills, you'll be a fast and effective relationship builder across all seniority levels
Demonstrable experience of grasping issues quickly and delivering effective and efficient solutions
Well-organised and a real self-starter, you'll need to manage multiple projects / relationships simultaneously and autonomously
Familiar with relevant HR tools and computer literate (experience with Workday and SAP or similar HRMS, MS Office suite required)
Strong language skills in English (oral and written), and at least one of the Nordic languages
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a related field is required
