About the Role & Program:
As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to be part of the magic as you support one of the following teams:
- ABC Entertainment (Finance and Business Planning) – Primetime, Late Night and Daytime
- ABC Entertainment (Marketing Finance & Business Planning)
- Freeform (Marketing Finance & Business Planning)
- ABC News (Marketing Finance)
This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June - August 2026.
What You Will Do:
- Operating plans, forecasts, and strategic plans
- P&L planning, budget, Variance, quarter, trend and acquisition analysis
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), project modeling, and variance analysis
- Accounting: Quarter closings, cash flows, and reconciliations
- Ad hoc requests and reporting for your team and Senior Executives
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- A solid skill set gained through coursework in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing environment and work situation
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently
- Data analytics mindset
- Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Education:
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related area
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
- Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank, CA area
