With operations in more than 40 countries, our teams collaborate across markets to deliver entertainment that is both globally consistent and locally relevant

We are looking for a Scheduler to join the Media Planning & Scheduling team, supporting Disney Channel. This role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality linear TV schedules, ensuring accurate, on‑time playlists that meet brand, editorial, and regulatory standards.

You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across Programming, Marketing, Scheduling Operations, Creative Services, and Ad Sales, contributing to the effective planning, promotion, and performance of the channel.

• Build and schedule monthly promotional campaigns for the channel within What’s On
• Input EDM (Edit Material) details, including video and audio components, into the monthly makelist to support Creative Services asset preparation
• Review the monthly makelist regularly with the Media Planning & Scheduling Manager to ensure all promotional and communication elements are ready for broadcast
• Approve promotional campaigns in Mediator, checking all on‑air versions for accuracy and consistency of messaging
• Prepare autoslotters, style sheets, continuity planning, and insert secondary events such as static and animated on‑screen graphics, in line with the agreed strategy
• Monitor daily channel output to ensure scheduled content is transmitted as planned
• Work closely with Programming, Scheduling Operations, and Ad Sales teams to provide feedback on commercial occupancy and resolve operational issues
• Contribute ideas to team brainstorms, including YouTube and social media strategy, and support campaign and launch planning for new series
• Coordinate monthly with Marketing and Local teams to support promotional requirements for off‑air and communication campaigns, including cross‑LOB and franchise initiatives
• Analyse audience data and competitor information to identify trends and support media planning recommendations
• Produce transmission and performance reports for the Media Planning & Scheduling Manager as required

Who you are

• Highly detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Able to manage time and priorities effectively across multiple tasks
• Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure
• Confident in identifying and solving operational issues
• A strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions

Experience required

• A first experience within editorial, media planning, or TV media teams
• Experience in media planning and presentation scheduling is an advantage
• Previous exposure to kids programming or scheduling is a plus
• Digital and social media experience is beneficial

Skills, qualifications, and knowledge

• Experience using What’s On (WON) broadcasting software is an advantage
• Degree‑level education in Communications or a related field
• Good product knowledge and technical understanding relevant to broadcast environments
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
