GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The job holder is responsible for assisting the QA Manager in maintaining WDI Quality standards for the whole project cycle. He / she is requires to liaise and monitor site quality and identify potential field problems, areas of risk and resolve the issues independently with guidance from the QA Manager. Maintaining a proper set of QC documentation.
CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL
- Carry out site inspections on material, finishes and testing to ensure compliance with drawing & specifications.
- Ensure contractors are working with latest and approved shop drawings, material and method statement
- Monitor and log submissions status
QUALITY CONTROL
- Assist QA Manager to monitor the installation quality, workmanship and standards ensures compliance with the specifications drawings and the approved contractor’s QA/QC plan
- Prepare Correction Notices (CN) for any defective works, irregularity against safety and environmental issue
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building Studies or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of solid site experience in related construction projects
- Site experience in Theme Park projects will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of building materials and technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, contractor and field personnel
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Fluent speaking and writing English and Chinese
- Driving license (group 1 or 2) is preferred
