Associate Director – Ad Sales, Network Accounts

About the Role:

Deep agency level engagement is extremely critical in driving the large multi-market, multi-channel deals and hence a dedicated team to drive this agenda becomes critical.  Strong agency relationships also benefit the network on rest of the accounts across the network in a world where partnerships have increasingly become a norm, making network deals and agency relationships strongly intertwined agendas to be effectively driven by the team.

Context:

While Entertainment Sales team have separate Ad Sales teams for each of our Channel clusters; to ensure sharp focus on each of our products, it is becoming increasingly important to leverage the strength of our Network as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry the business target for your set of agencies

• Deliver business growth as per aligned targets
• Joint Business Planning across Op Cos / Businesses with an agreed partnership vision
• Quarterly Reviews with the senior most Agency Leadership
• Monthly Reviews with key Agency Stakeholders
• Build relations with key decision makers to enable efficiency in closing conversations

Disney Star Evangelist

• Drive innovation and charter new paths leveraging Disney Star offerings
• Identity macro-opportunities and address it with 3P research, internal data to create compelling case for Disney Star
• Can provide input with insights from clients/agencies to shape internal content and TV agenda
• Participate in industry events and shape the Disney Star narrative in public platforms

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate with 14-16 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management and Client relationship management
• Agency Planning background across Offline and Online portfolios
• Understanding of Media Agency’s way of working/ principles/consultative selling will be an added advantage
