As a Senior Analyst of People Research, you will support the Senior Manager in amplifying the voice of our employees and enhancing the employee experience. Your role will involve assisting in the design and execution of people research strategies to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. This position requires a professional with a strong background in people research, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for driving organizational excellence.
Responsibilities
Support the employee listening strategy:
- Assist in implementing a comprehensive employee listening strategy across active, passive, and external listening points to understand the employee experience and assess the effectiveness of people strategies.
- Help manage a suite of lifecycle surveys.
- Utilize mixed-method research methodologies that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead the development and refinement of survey questions, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
Collaborate with HR and business leaders:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support people research initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide input on research design and methodology.
Analyze data:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected through various research methods.
- Conduct analysis, interpretation, and reporting of research findings.
- Partner with reporting teams to design and deliver data reports and visual dashboards.
- Collaborate with decision science teams on advanced statistics and modeling to deliver impactful insights.
- Assist in the technical review and analysis of qualitative data.
Deliver actionable insights:
- Synthesize insights into simple, relatable, and actionable recommendations that help drive data-driven decisions and strategies through compelling storytelling to HR and business leaders.
- Connect dots across different data points, research inputs, and business initiatives.
- Prepare and present research findings to various audiences.
- Assist in developing research materials to educate and empower internal stakeholders on people research methodologies and findings.
Drive innovation:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational psychology, and Data/People Analytics.
- Conduct external research to provide benchmarking and competitive intelligence to inform strategies and decisions.
- Test innovative tools and methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting, including AI, nudging, and passive sources to advance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience in people research, survey design, and qualitative methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $108,200 - $132,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. This position can be located near a Disney Hubs in Orlando, FL or Burbank, CA with potential opportunities for remote work.
