Job Summary
As an Associate Director- Agency Sales you work with the senior most agency leaders in the Mid-tier Agency segment to position Disney+ Hotstar as a key strategic partner for their client’s business. This requires understanding the unique strategic proposition that the agency offers to its clients and
being able to craft a Disney+ Hotstar narrative for the same. You need to be a thought leader who clearly lays down a long-term vision of partnership with the agency and can move business across agency levels and stakeholders. As an evangelist, you need to create demand for the Disney+ Hotstar product with innovation and new thinking and ensure adoption across the agency client portfolio.
About the team
Disney+ Hotstar is challenging the old media buying practices by altering the digital advertising landscape completely. The Agency Ad sales team works closely with the media agencies to solve the advertisers marketing goals through custom solutions on Disney+ Hotstar. Our team provides solutions across the vast landscape of the digital ads ecosystem, which work for the agencies and also help secure ad revenues for Disney+ Hotstar as a platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Carries the business target for your set of agencies
Deliver business growth as per aligned targets.
Joint Business Planning across Businesses with an agreed partnership vision.
Quarterly Reviews with the senior most Agency Leadership.
Monthly Reviews with key Agency Stakeholders.
Build relations with key decision makers to enable efficiency in closing conversations.
- Disney+ Hotstar Evangelist
Is able to drive innovation and charter new paths leveraging Hotstar offerings.
Is able to identity macro opportunities and address it with 3P researches, internal data to create compelling case for Disney+ Hotstar.
Is able to input with insights from clients/agencies to shape internal content and adtech agenda.
Is able to participate in industry events and shape Disney+ Hotstar narrative in public platforms.
In this role, you will work closely with the internal sales strategy team, internal agency team for conceptualization & execution of long-term deals for your accounts.
Skills & Attributes for success
- Understanding of Media Agency’s way of working/ principles / consultative selling will be an added advantage
- Should be both a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets
- Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations
- Concise yet inspiring communicator
- Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network and have effective negotiations
- Should have worked with leading media agencies
Preferred Education & Experience
- 12 to 14 years of experience in digital media agency / digital ad sales/ consumer internet industry with working experience in the agency eco-system
- Preferably a Post Graduate in Business Administration
